BIOGRAPHY

IN the year 1975, on the 4th day of November somewhere within the 9th ward of New Orleans, Louisiana, it occurred, The Birth of Izrell. Between the doors of a late model Coupe’ de ville a star was born. By the age four Izrell’s family had relocate to Oakland California. At seven, around the time of UTFO’s “Real Roxanne”, Izrell managed to form his own sort of an “independent distribution company”(for lack of a better term). Izrell made an income from selling fellow students cassette tapes that he somehow manage to acquire, on request. Some of the most request tapes were artist like Run DMC, LL Cool Jay, Too Short etc. These became influence on Izrell and form what would become the foundation of hip hop for Izrell. 1993 Izrell began recording music at a home studio in the School St. neighborhood of Oakland. Although a student at Oakland Technical High School Izrell could rarely be found on campus. He was occupied with honing skills that would help him prevail in a thriving music industry. The result was izrells obscure rap style; one which is vocalized by a distinct vocal tone that is audibly conspicuous and obviously Izrell, when ever you hear it. In 2007 Izrell, Under the name Mr. Town dropped the mixtape “Who’s That” hosted by Dj Dsharp. From 187 Faculty, To the legendary Hieroglyphics crew, Izrell maintain relations and affiliations with all bay area artist from street to elite. Izrells debut release “The Talk of The Town” schedule for Aug 7th, features Kaos Brought, Divinci, Hustla of Mob Figgas, K.B. Imean, Whosane and more.
