BIOGRAPHY

Pimpin' Young comes from an infamous family, as he is the the godson of Fillmore Slim, the grandson of the Preacher Man and the son of Chocolate The Pimp. He will be familiar to many as one third of the group Pomona City Ridaz, with whom he has released two solo albums, and as the producer of several adult movies, such as "Daddy's Side Of The Closet", but with "Thunder & Lightning", the world will finally get a proper introduction to Mr. Young. This summer, Hip-Hop's most notorious pimp Suga Free will be teaming up with his protege, fellow Pomona representative Pimpin' Young to release a record full of game and wisdom: "Thunder & Lightning". With almost 15 years of experience in the rap game and even more than that as a pimp, Suga Free felt that the time had come for him to bring forward one of his long time comrades, Pomona Pimpin' Young. The history of Suga Free and Pimpin' Young is interesting to say the least: "Suga Free, Kokane, Suga Shane Mosley and myself all came up from elementary school together. Me and Suga Free came up from the dark alleys of gangbanging and made our way into this way of life that everybody else likes to call pimping", Young describes their journey. "Thunder & Lightning", which is set for a summer release, will be jam packed with humorous rhymes from Free and Young, who trade verses back to back, but they brought some of their comrades along with them. Too Short, Bizzy Bone, Glasses Malone, Audio Push, LaToiya Williams, Kokane, Pomona City Ridaz, DJ Kali Slimm as well as a couple of surprise guests that are yet to be revealed, all appear on the album. When asked to describe the sound of the album, Pimpin' Young puts it as follows: "We're gonna bring that humor back from Street Gospel, we're gonna bring that understanding from Daddy's Side Of The Closet and we're gonna bring that new game generation. We don't care too much about the squares who don't care about us. This game is for those who really need it at this specific time in life and we're going to give it to them. It ain't going to be force fed either."
